The blueberry syrup turned out excellent. And not too syrupy. It was mostly made of blueberry puree, so it isn't anything like blueberry pie filling (though is still definitely sweet). So, those of you who don't want pie filling on your pancakes, come on over. (Sorry, John, I couldn't resist!)
I also discovered that I need to make another batch, as we can go through a significant amount of it with our Sunday morning pancakes!
